Flirting in second language

 

Well I haven't come into contact with any french girls socially for a while, but half the people at my new job are french. One of the girls there approached me at lunch last week and we chatted briefly.

 

It was pretty awkward for me because my french, while good, is unpracticed. Things went well nonetheless.

 

I still need to learn to lighten up about it and bring back some of the skills I used to have, like not answering seriously and being more fun.
