Tools Book, Dreams, friends...

 

I blogged once about my tool book. How I was so happy to have it back in my life. (I used to carry a writing book everywhere and in it was similar to the tool room items) Well, I am still happy to say I've got it and I'm still using it. It's so full of stuff. I can't get over how full it is for such a short time I've had it. Using it has helped me think about careers I would like to try. I took radio but am not too into it. I always wanted to be a freelance voice talent. You know, home studio where clients send you scripts and I voice them then the client gives me moolah! Who-ha! Well, after todays tools exercise, I can fully see my studio and giving this a shot. I'm looking at it like this... I already own mics, headphones, editing programs, and my Mac died after like 6 yrs so I'm picking up my new iMac next month. (I want the one thats just outta my price range so I'm saving. I have a savings I coulod use now but I'm sketchy about money and my savings is the OMG no income rainy day fund. Can't dip into that so I started my Mac fund.) So I own the stuff and I need a new computer anyway so I won't be losing money on trying this. I won't really lose anything because well, I didn't invest in extra stuff needed for the biz. IF it pans out to be a success then WHO-HA! I gain some extra joy and moolah! Red Dragons to that!!! OMG I'm SO excited to try this!!!!!!!!! I haven't been this excited since I first discovered radio or took that theatre program in highschool. I've almost forgotten how awesome it feels.
