Weekend inspirations-a writer should always carry a story, and I also say....

A  writer should also always carry extra pens with enough ink, pencils, erasers, blank notebooks, with enough papers in them, be they recycled or non-recycled, as well a fairly decent but not very heavy dictionary which are a writer's most valuable tools for their writing life.

And don't forget to allow the muse to tag along as well she should, because we know that for some writer's it's not just a hobby but a career, that they have taken on with love.

You can say what you want, that they will starve on the street, wind up living at home with mom and dad or you can beleieve for them they really don't care about the money, fame or exposure, they love the details and the struggles, while others are maintaining a much more establashed life with expensive but unendurable and ugly cars, unhappy marriages and the lies they afford to tell themselves of how happy they are and yet the tears are still welling behind theiir eyes, a writer knows that the need to be a creative force is what drives them the most.

And what is behind every fictionaized stories characters, the author him/herself is much more unique because a lot of them live what they write and yet can see  other's lives much more keenly than the person living that life.

Teachers, librairians are great, but let me ask you, where would they be without the writer?

Keep the faith, Chantilly.
