2 weeks of getting 8 hours ininterupted sleep each

This is a miracle for me. I have gotten rid of my old habit of staying up late each night, getting up at 5 am to get my husbanc off to work and then going back to take a 2 hour nap. I didn't make sense but I didn't know that then.
I have been forming a new habit of going to bed each night at a reasonable hour so that I can wake up 8 hours later and be up for the rest of the day. I don't feel groggy and sluggish anymore. I don't get to watch my 9 to 10pm shows on TV but in exchange I get a good night's sleep and I feel energized and clear headed. It's a no brainer !!!
On the nights that I must be up late to work it is usually a weekend and I just set my alarm for 8 hours later and get up when it goes off instead of thinking that I have to sleep til noon the next day.
Thank you so much. I also thank myself for being willing and able to do something different. It was a really big and fearful step for me to give up my morning nap because that is the way my family of origin did it. That is the way I grew up. I felt so deprived during the school year that I had to get up early and go off to school knowing that my parents were going back to bed for a nice nap. I should explain that my father was disabled and my mother stayed home to take care of him.
But the main part of this is that I have gotten past all that and am making a new life for myself now. What a wonderful gift you have given me and I have given myself.
