Change Don't Come Easy

I find that if I have a day in which I pile in a number of positive things, I backslide the next day. Change doesn't come easily to me, and even if it's positive change it scares me. I will probably have to work this program a little more slowly than other people in order to acclimatize.

Change is not easy for anyone

Change is hard for everyone.  Change is scary, but one must remember it is the only true constant in life.  We actually change every day.  Cells within your body are dying and being replaced at rapid rates.  Even obtaining knowledge is done on a daily basis.  You have always been changing.  You just now realize that you want to change for the better.

Why I cling to what I know....

Change is very hard and unwelcome for most of us.  No matter how bad my life is, I know I can stand it because here I am living and breathing and carrying on with my day.  And yet, I realize that if I allow change to happen, my life can actually get better, sweeter, more productive, filled with love.  It's a little frightening that we don't think we deserve this better life isn't it?  Take your time with the program and let change happen gradually if necessary but be willing to embrace the changes necessary to allow you to live, laugh, love and be happy.  WE all deserve that!
