Our NEXT step. : )
Oh my goodness, I laughed right aloud when I read your blog today... better than crying I guess. haha
It just sounded so much like me in some ways. I was partially relieved to know I am not the only one logging into SUCH a POSITIVE healthy program and some days abusing it to use as yet another form of procrastination and avoidance of other things I need to do and don't feel like it.
I do the toolbox lessons first, then read through others blogs. Which is FINE.. BUT I need to work much more consistently and actively on the actual differences in my real life too. I was already good at thinking about it and reflecting on it and writing about it... the problem has always been going beyond that to DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT. sighhh.
I didn't give in to any icecream during tools but I enjoy a cup of coffee each morning with it. : )
Well, I supposse the first step to correcting or improving is to recognize the mind game we are playing with OURSELF and acknowledge and admit it which we BOTH did today.... so now for our next step.,.. TAKING REAL LIFE ACTION right?
I am with you. Hang in there.
Yup...I think so!
I feel the same way, can't wait to see if there are messages or to write a blog....What I do is follow my own rule. First, tools. When I have hit finished for the day, I can then browse to my heart's content. It's a reward to be able to read other people's inspiration and to partake in the community.
Tools as procrastination
I allow myself to read mail before Toolbox, but blog only after making the full rounds. I also used to spend much more time in Tools than I do now. In retrospect, that was just what I needed to do. Now I am using the Tools to live my life more healthily, in greater balance. I don't make excuses, but I also don't beat myself up for not doing this all perfectly. I try to take stock of how I am progressing every day, instead of dwelling on what I haven't done.
Best of success to you as you find what works best for you. Commit and believe and you will be amazed.

Chubby Hubby...
We used to eat Chubby Hubby all the time, but then my hubby got too chubby! He took the day off today to go on a bike ride with me. Very unusual. I think tools is affecting him to, through me. How exciting! I'm not only transforming myself, but I'm having a positive affect on the people I love. That's a great motivation to stick with it!
Yup, me too
I make myself actually do Tools before blogging. I might answer Tools email, but I don't get to look at the blogs or check out the people who are also doing my day until AFTER I do Tools.
I'm also pretty good at logging in every day that I am home. And accepting that if I am not home I can't log in and that is just the way it is.
But boy do I understand where you are coming from. <grin> Right now I am commenting on blogs INSTEAD of having breakfast and getting out there for my walk and my daily stairs.
