avoidance behavior

Really struggling with controlling avoidance activities like overeating, overdrinking, zombie-faced TV sessions, etc.  ....not quite sure when I gave up responsibility for self-preservation, but one would think I was slowly doing myself in.  Eat, drink , and be merry for tomorrow we.........what?

I want to avoid dealing with making decisions for my own life and yet work daily making decisions for other people's lives. Bit hypocritical to say the least.

It seems there was this slow transition from glimpses of great possibilties toward a gradual jaded attitude for what coulda, woulda, shoulda been.

I can see how the repetition in this course FORCES one to stay in the moment and face up to paying attention.  Maybe the huge amount of time in avoidance (of "life", really) contributes to the feel that life is passing me by.

Logging in

Don't make the mistake of thinking that you can't log in if you haven't "mastered" the previous day's lesson. This course is a spiral. You WILL revisit anything you haven't already mastered at a higher level at a later time.

So log in tomorrow, and the next day and the next day, and you will move forward in your life too. You don't need to be perfect. You just need to be present.

You can do it, keep going! You can do it, keep going!
