What motivates you?

Think about it, when ever you have been really motivated you did what you needed to to get what you wanted.  What is it going to take to motivate you to create the life you want?

Thanks for putting this program together.  I have referred many of my colleagues to Tools to Life. I love the simplicity.

says:

What has motivated me more than anything in my life, was a long passionate kiss from the girl that I care about most. Doesn't happen a lot though.

For now what motivates me is a part of a song (I have amended lyrics to fit me), "I breathe in and breathe out. I Put one foot in front of the other, and take one day at a time, until I find that someone I can't live without but, until then, I'll breathe in and breathe out."

Thanks Coach! I'll keep putting one foot in front of the other until I am finished with the program =D

says: When I am feeling a little down I think " I will get through this day, this is only temporary". Tomorrow will be a better day.

I just re-read my first comment on this question, which I wrote back in July 2008, I said:

"The last time I was really motivated? About this time last year, I was temping a mental hospital, in the Occupational Therapy Department, doing Admin. I loved the job, nothing was too much trouble for me. I was always on time, often arriving up to half an hour early for work, I loved my job! (Sounds crazy to say that now, I often think the complete opposite of my jobs).

I loved the job, and I loved the people I was working with, I was happy and relaxed, the happiest I'd been in ages. Maybe I should be learning something from that, but I can't see what???"

I think I may have finally figured out what I was supposed to learn - Do what you love, and you are motivated enough to keep doing well to stay there. And perhaps in my current position, the lesson should be, aim for what you love (with goal setting, aim for the Results I want), and if I really want it, and aim for what I love, and visualise it, then I will be motivated enough to reach it!

Can you tell I've just been reading Day 31 about Visualising your Goals? lol. I think if I knew what I did now, would get me to that job I loved, working with people I loved, then that would be huge motivation for me to do well. I think the trick is to remember what your purpose is, what you're aiming for, and that this effort now, will get you there. Think maybe the Visualisations every night will keep that purpose in your head. (I hope). I aim to try it!

Really glad I found this question again now!

says:

well motivation is something which i nevr had all my life, whenevr i did something good my family wanted to do better than thatand no body ever praised me,last time i got motivated was when i saw a video send by my friend to my' LIFE WITHOUT LIMBS' BY  nick vyujic,i was so surprised by the whole video that i decided no matter how bad people critisize me i am going to do what my heart says with all my effort, but still sometimes i get depressed, so please
