I am looking for new friends, nothing more. In the past few years, I have suffered a lot of losses, including both parents. I have been in an unhealthy relationship for a long time, which is now finally ending. Unfortunately, I have no kids, no siblings, and just some relatives that are not close with me. I have always had a small circle of good friends, but somehow, in the past few years, I find myself more alone than I would have ever imagined. I feel that it is now or never if I want to change my life and start living again, instead of just existing. I hope to meet some nice, honest people to develop lasting friendships.

I grew up with two loving parents. They could not have their own biological child, so they adopted me as an infant. I wanted a sibling so badly, but it was not possible for them to adopt another child, as the waiting lists were very long.

Moving right along, at 24, I married someone I really loved. Unfortunately, the marriage ended 5 years later, leaving me devastated for at least 2 years. The next few years were filled with a lot of good times, partying, etc., but also brought with it a lot of pain that I experienced from having my heart broken by men that did not even deserve my attention. Unfortunately, I did not have enough self esteem to realize this.

In my early 40's, I began to grow up. My dad died soon after, and my priority was to take care of my mother as well as she had always taken care of me.
