March 1st 353lbs

 

Hello everyone,

I have decided to start writing this blog and hope that it becomes a daily event as a way to help keep me accountable.  Sometime back in early Jan. I made a deciction to lose weight like have been doing every year since I left the Army.  When I stepped on the scale I was shocked because I was at 367lbs.  I have never ever even been close to that weight ever.  I knew I was gaining some wieght but i didnt think it would be that much.  I am 25 year old and know if I dont do something now to change my life I never will and die way before I want to.  I have been going to the gym a lot since Jan. and now today is March 1st and I am at 353lbs.  I have been watching what I eat and working out on monday, tuesday, thursday, friday, saturday.  I have also started taking Ju Jitsu classes on monday, wend, and saturday.  There have been many tools that I have used to help my with my weight loss and one great tool I found was a cal. counter on my phone.  I can scan an item or if im out to eat i and look at the menu on my phone and it will tell me how many caliores are in everything.  This cool have been great for me to track everything.  Tools to life makes so much sense to me now.  Coach Steele is right in the fact that if you put your mind to something and decide you want to do it it will become a habit and you will get to where you want in life.  My goal is to lose 10lbs a month every month.  Jan I hit my goal but Feb. was a short month and there were days I just didnt make the effort like I should of.  I fell just short of my goal but today is the start of a new month and I will hit my goal when it is all said and done.
