My name's Brandon.  I guess I'll start from the beginning; um my parents got a divorce shortly after I graced the world with my presence.  I lived with my mom till I was twelve and let me tell ya, my mom is great but she let me get by with murder; I was a little SHIT!! I moved in with my dad and he turned that around real quick! There was a lot more discipline at his house and he and my step mom really turned me around and groomed me to be a better, more polite person and I love them for it.  

My dad taught me how to ride motorcycles starting when I was 2 yrs old.  Starting on a little 4wheeler, then by age 3 was actually riding a little 50cc dirt bike.  Still today riding motorcycles is my passion; my first true love, when I'm not out riding, I'm thinking about riding and I feel my time spent doing something I truly love so much, is what life is all about!!

I haven't left much room for girlfriends over the years, I've either run them off or just haven't even gave them a chance.  Which leads me into why I'm here on TOOLS now.  

I've been listening to Jason Ellis on XM radio for about a year now and he has helped me see that there is WAY more to life than just going riding.  That by secluding myself and treating riding as my life, I'm actually holding myself back from many things that life has to offer.  I'd like to broaden my horizons I guess.  My dream is still to race motorcycles for a living so maybe TOOLS could help me focus so that I could make that dream a reality as well.  The more I thought about it, the fewer and fewer reasons I could see of why NOT to start Tools to Life! 

I've kinda summed up my past in "my story", but I'll break it down a little more.  I was born and raised in Odessa Tx.  I moved to Lubbock Tx to go to Texas Tech University for a few years.  I never really committed to college so I didn't do so well and a rocky relationship, or the end of the relationship, sort of pushed me to move back home to Odessa.  I had worked at a motorcycle dealership in Lubbock so I had planned to work at one back home, but the lack of money made it difficult so I started working for my dad in his oilfield supply store.  I don't like being here because it feels like I'm locking myself down.  I'm well paid so it's hard to leave because even though I don't like the job, at least it supports me in my riding which makes me happier than anything so I just deal with it.   I've never been a very confident person, I've always struggled in social environments, mostly because I don't have much in common with anyone around here.  

I just keep pushing through my time here and try to stay positive about what could come in the future. 

I've recently started riding tracks on my street bike.  I've caught on really quickly, no doubt because of my dirt bike background.  I'm going to start racing in Feb of 2010 and I can't wait.  As bad as I would love to race for a living, I try not to lead myself to any false illusions of becoming pro, but I also am confident in my abilities so I stay very positive about the possibility.  

If nothing else I hope to become good enough that I will meet people within the industry so that I can make a career within the sport that I love so much.  Wherever the wind takes me I guess, I don't have my heart set on anything other than racing so as long as I could work closely within the sport I will be happy!
