Here goes...

I am 30 yrs old, I live in the Sunny Okangan Valley in southern British columbia Canada in the city of Kelowna.

I work at a local tree service company and practice aboriculture. I work hard for my money, my job is very labor intensive. I am not complaining I am in pretty darn good shape and my health has been good.

I am a pretty active guy, I enjoy the outdoors... I work outside, play outside... ocaisionally I sleep outside!

I am a pretty direct and to the point kinda guy. It can get me into trouble sometimes....  the ol' foot in the mouth syndrom...

All in all I am a pretty straight edge guy. I dont smoke or do drugs and i manage to keep drinking to family or social events.

Here come the skeletons...

I was brought up in a small town by a single parent and my Dad was never really arround or was a role model in my life... As a teen I experimented pretty heavy with drugs and alcohol but managed to not only graduate, but do it with with a decent GPA, and lead several athetic teams and  play competitively. I almost got in alot of trouble with the law before I turned 18 as a result of the "goodtimes" and after graduating I moved to Vancouver Island to try to start a new life. A better life?

For the purposes of keeping this short i will just say that it seems that slowly but surely I have managed to clean life up and as i  get older it seems like my decisions become more sound from everything to financial and social issues. from 15 - 26 I have manged to quit; smoking, smoking pot, chewing tobacco, cocaine, meth, and alcohol. suprising ly enough pot was the hardest of them all... and the last time i smoked pot was about 4 yrs ago...

I have suffered a few good heartbreaks in my life...

I have been in love a few times and a few times I have been dealt a blow...

The worst by far just over a year ago. I was engaged for almost 6 months and had been with her for over 3 yrs. I worked out of town alot and was putting in alot of hours to pay for the things we would want in the future. I had a loose plan to only do it for a few yrs and I knew she had issues with it... i think we all know where this is going... came home she was gone...

I actually quit a month later and tried to make thinngs right... damage was done... she moved on and i am working on it ....

I guess that brings me to now...

In my crystal ball...

I am not looking for fame or fortune... just comfort... I dont need alot just enough... I am not about excess... nor do I ever want to be.

I would like to own a home big enough for a small familly. You know, couple of kids, dog, family car and a truck, maybe a bit of a yard on the outskirts of town. I would like to have a job the requires some physical but also demands a brain and pays fairly. A partner who isn't afraid to get her hands dirty and get tough when the going gets rough, but someone who still is a princess deep down.

lol... maybe I am asking for alot?

On a serious note one thing I would really like to be better at in the future is saving and investing money... I work so dammn hard for it and I spend it like its flowwing out of a faucette.
