says: Hi. I just bought a Yoga + Joyful Living magazine. To inspire myself to try it. I meditated and did Tai Chi many years ago--both were fabulous for my health and life. Yoga I keep hearing though how good it is for you in so many ways. I have heard advertisements for CD's and tapes especially with titles like "Yoga for the Rest of Us" (those with injuries, less flexible, weight issues, or elderly..the rest of us! lol) and I've seen Yoga classes where you do everything from a chair. So easy going starter Yoga is out there. Try a search maybe Beginner's Yoga or Baby Boomer Yoga...I've seen real-time classes too at the YMCA etc. for beginners, elderly, etc. I hope you find one near you, or a tape or CD. Everyone who bends like a pretzel started out as a person who fell over or lost their balance or had health or coordination issues. So don't think Yoga is only for the super flexible.
