Just Wondering

If you were approached by a person with a very obvious and severe "physical" disability but you knew that they were "normal" in every other way would you talk to them?

If you were approached by a person with a very obvious "developmental" disability(retarded, down syndrom, autism etc.)  would you talk to them?

If your answer is NO please tell why.

Because it only takes 1 second and a very horrible accident for ANY of us to become disabled

Thanks for asking this question. I've been thinking about this question for quite awhile now. I'm actually going to add this to my goal list. Thank you for this gentle push. Smile

My volunteer opportunity will be to go to a local nursing home or assisted living center and capture their "message to the world."

I feel that we are all here for a purpose and towards the end of our life we reflect on what we have accomplished, what we have learned, and how have we contributed to the world.

They have witnessed the world change, experienced things that most of us probably haven't experienced, and they all have something to share with the world.

I think this would be a great documentary. Gather audios, videos, images, and stories.

Now I need to get to my Goal Tracker and make this happen.

Thanks again!
