My kitchen is clean! WOO HOO!

Yeah, I'm sure that seems like a retarded thing to be excited about - but here's the thing. I have pretty much always struggled through depression. I have a hard time staying focused and getting things done. I often find myself in the middle of a project and I turn around and leave it for another one. Horrible habit!

I'm a messy person. I never seemed to really get the hang of staying neat, tidy and organized. My house often looks like I've been hit by a mini-tornado named 'Nicole'. Oh wait! That's me! hehe

Anyways, I haven't been on tools in about a week or so, and I logged back on again yesterday. This program really helps me to challenge my thoughts. So, yesterday, after cooking a wonderful little meal for myself, my thoughts began to take on this form......

Brain: I should clean the kitchen, but I don't want too.

Inner voice: Why not?

Brain: I'm just too tired. Maybe I'll do it tomorrow.

Inner voice: You're too tired to do something that's going to be beneficial to you in the long run? How does THAT work?

Brain: Um.....it doesnt.

Inner voice: EXACTLY

So, I got up and cleaned my kitchen and dining room! Today will be my living room.

Yay! My house is looking better, smelling cleaner, and is feeling like a house again.

I feel like a queen!
