El's Milestones
Today at work I had some chocolate in my hand, just a small piece, so it didn't count righ? Wrong! My inner voice just pipes in with a reminder that I don't lie to myself.
No judgement about whether to eat the chocolate or not, just no lies! So into the garbage it went, and that was the end of it. I felt so great. I felt like I was in control.
Later, I went to lunch with colleagues and started a conversation about socializing together outside of work. So now I'm going out with a friend from work tomorrow. I've been wanting to get out of the house more. I'm so happy.
