Somebody push me!

Well I started Get A Job Tools when it started (Feb.?)

Did 3 days and lost my way

I returned 134 days later .. two days ago

Still unemployed and struggling  mentally and physically -

I never thought it would be so hard to be out of work - or to get work

Depression and what has turned into daily body aches and pains are plaguing me but I do look for work, send applications, resumes, and do interviews

Now I'm back at Tools starting from day one to find some direction, knowledge, and hopefully some gentle prodding - I def. need a push!

Gentle prodding on the way

Yes - looking for a job can be a mental challenge, especially when time passes and there are no offers.

It is so important to remember that you matter and are important with or without a job! Maintaining self esteem is vital.

Loss of structure, regular contact with people, change in general.....it can all add up and needs to be managed. I'm glad you are back.  GAJ discusses dealing with disappointment  - When the big one gets away" - when I tell of a job I really wanted and chased for months......I made it to the final 4 but didn't get the offer.  So I know what you mean......even at the lowest moments, you have to hang on and push through and believe in yourself.

Extra TLC for sure - reaching out, keeping on track with activites to get out of the house, taking good care of yourself physically , emotionally, spiritually.......using all our tools to persevere.

I'm glad you are here.  It seems to be a quiet day on tools today.  Please don't let that stop you from blogging.

That is the best part of tools - being here and partipating.  I'm glad you are back!

I know you will do this.  I beleive in you.

You're not alone You're not alone

Thanks!

Thank you Brenda for the info.

With your input I have accessed day 2.
