I'm a 55 year old widow of a military officer.  I am presently enrolled in American Intercontinental University in Graphic Design.  I have 2 characters I've come up with that I want to use in children's books (a series about everyday "grown up" things that happen  to a child's life too!  Also I started dating again.  And he's a wonderful man, who keeps telling me he can't believe I want to keep him around.  But then he tells me he can't look at me straight in the face, because my blue eyes hypnotize.  We just started seeing each other, but I feel like I've known him forever.

I was married to an Army Officer for over 15 years.  He retired at the end of 20 years, and we went back to his home town to settle down.  3 years later he suffered a brain stem stroke and the family lost him.  It was a difficult time for all of us.  I was 39 at the time, 2 children grown and out of the house, but a 10 year old son still at home.  I had 5 family members die in 18 months.  My husband, my adoptive sister, my mother-in-law; my adoptive mother and my grandmother.  I was not an easy time.

I'm looking forward to a possible new life with the man I just met.  And school, I want to be able to "draw" on my computer the characters that I want to use in my series of children's books.  I want to publish them.  I need to learn about storyboards, 2 and 3 dimension character drawing, shading, etc. to give my characters depth and feeling.  Also more ideas for what "Eloise" and "Big Ears" to  do and get into.
