Finding Love?

Hi,

I watched "What the Bleep Do We Know?" and "The Secret" but a lot of what they say has been and is still being taught in TOOLS, the Law of Attraction...Hmm..I believe I heard that here :)  Either way it's no secret..(yes, yes,  a bad pun...)

Okay, here's the situation..Anyone heard of Happy Bunny?? Yeah the smart ass funny rabbit?  Well I had Happy Bunny all over my refigerator, and in the spirt of fung shui, one day I actually read what was there, "It's all about me, deal with, it.." That was one of the nicer magnets..I took them all off...

I started thinking about what type of men I find attractive, and what type of men I want attracted to me...No, I am not married, but I am seriously looking :)  And things have been better because I think and I believe they will be, and most importantly, I have all the time in the world to find the one..

:) Never give up, and never settle for less, love yourself first, and then you will find someone (I will let you all know if I find my mate ;)

Until then love yourself!

I loved the pun!

Yup - totally sounded like a radio segway! Good job!

I know what you mean - as a fan of (not so) Happy Bunny, I was quiet sad when I had to purge my house of the negative items. Sure they're funny, but how are they improving your life? Dang that happy bunny! Dang him!!!

Okay - so i dont have a TV but there's a show called 'The Secret'?? I'm assuming its based off of the book. What channel is it on? Maybe I can find it online.

Even if it is repetitive of this course, at least its a great re-affirmation to what you're already learning. Another great way to train da brain! Wow, i'm totally ranting. I'll stop now. Really. :oP

Have a good one!

Not a big Secret Fan

I am not a big fan of the Secret, because it is no secret.  I loved the Saturday Night Live spoof of it with Julia Louis-Dreyfuss playing a stalker.  She was going to keep having good thoughts to get her ex-husband back, but he put a restraining order on her.  Her "Law of Attraction" was not working for her.

I agree that positive thoughts bring positive results, but that is due for the most part to our perceptions.  We think positively we will view our problems in a better light.  It is really about coping skills.

I do believe that our quest for love begins with a committment to ourselves.  When we get clear on what we want, we no longer tolerate what we don't want.  We stop wasting time when we are honest with ourselves.  Like I always say, "the truth is freeing, but painful."

As for all the time in the world, do not let that be a crutch.  I use to use that line on myself and in my view it is self-defeating.  I woke up one day and was 35.  I had accomplished a lot and enjoyed myself, but was I where I wanted to be?  Time is fleeting and it pushes me forward.

If you have personal or professional goals, every day should take a little time to work on that goal.  When you have the map in place, everything else becomes clearer and a lot easier.  That is where the "law of attraction" works.

Update

Hi,

I appreciate your comments, but as for having all the time in the world, I do.  My outlook is that I will not settle, and do not fear being alone, so that's not a "lie" I tell myself, I am not worried about my age, pushing me to do anything.  My goals are set, and I work towards them on a daily basis, one goal is finding someone that I believe is right for me, not settling down with whomever, so I do have all the time, because I have myself, I do not "need" a man to complete me, I complete me, so that gives me all the time that I desire.  I would hate to wake up "be 35" and feel that time is running out, I plan on living a long time, and savoring every moment.

Day 92?

So what goes on in Tools on Day 92?

I find myself fascinated by the people who have stayed the course and have reached the end of the 90 day course.

Starling :)

Tools,

Isn't about what day you are on, it is about consistency, and what you learn over the course of time, and realizing that you are never really finished learning until you die, so it never hurts to keep re-training our brains.

Sometimes outside influences, (media, family, friends can whether intentionally or not be negative) and this effects how we think, so being able to reflect on situations, and have more TOOLS is what is all about.

Finding your opportunity, at the right place, at the right time ;)

Right words, thoughts, actions, etc..

Stick with the TOOLS, and I promise everyday is a present :)

Francie

Congratulations

Congrats on purging happy bunny out of your life!
