Losing Weight!

I am always amused when it is assumed one is over eating because they are hungry.  Part of today's lesson mentioned just that.  That water will suppress your appetite.  That's not my problem.  I can go all day without my tummy growling.  I can go till it hurts and then eat in order to stop the pain.  I eat for two reasons.  First, because I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEE food.  I like the texture, the taste, the smell and making it.  I love everything to do with it, even the way the air smells when you're baking a cake or cookies or a pot roast in the oven.  I love food!!!  The second thing they rarely if never manage to talk about is that I eat when I'm not hungry (tummy growling), because if I don't then I'd rarely be eating.  And, part of this includes eating when I'm in emotional pain.

If I could manage to get through that one thing this time with ttl, it will be worth the price of admission.  But, then again, that's never talked about.

Food Love Affair

I love food too and have battled being obese most of my life. I guess we have to decide we love ourselves more than we love the food so we can make good choices about our eating habits. Hang in there!
