Hello everyone

 

I have to start off by saying that I heard about this site off the radio and decided I needed to give it a shot. After all I do need help, or at least to me I do.  

 

To be 100% honest right now I do need help. My life seems to be heading in all the wrong directions and I am searching for a way to start getting it going in the right direction. For the past three years all I have known is work. I hav not been looking for anyone or anything, and finally it is starting to catch up to me.

 

I am now 23 years old and have nothing besides material objects, when all I really want is the tools and the knowledge to be able to take the next step in the right direction to achieve something grand. I am not going to lie... I feel like the end is coming closer by the day, and I have no idea how far out it really is.

I joined TOOLS because:
 I joined because I was listening to a radio show and the host was talking about how it helped him, and well today I realized that even if this site helps a little it is still some help that I didnt have the day before. I joined so I can rebuild my confidence and see myself as someone that is worth something, and can achieve the goals in which I set for myself.
You are offered your dream job. What job is it?:
 My dream job would do with something in the field of computer programming.
My favorite wild animal is:
 I would have to say... wolf
Why (describe as much as possible):
 Mainly because how they carry themselves with such pride and never back down from something. I really admire the fact that they are more than willing to work as a team to achieve a goal that they feel is impossible to achieve to get alone.
My favorite domestic animal is (if you choose dog be specific with breed etc):
 I would have to say... Cat.
Why:
 because they are independent creatures. They do what they want and when they want. They have the ability to be lovers and/or fighters. They are willing to protect what is theirs. That and they always seem to have cheered me up in the past when I have been down.
A famous Chef will prepare anything you want. What do you order:
 Wow, this is a hard one... I think I would order a steak.
Why:
 I say that because first off I love steak, and I would love to sample other ways to prepare it. I love the smells and textures that are created from different cooking techs. and different seasonings.
Five people either dead or alive you would have at your fantasy dinner party::
 Martin Luther King Jr. ; Abraham Lincoln ; Jackie Robinson ; Neal Armstrong ; Ray Lucas
Why:
 Martin Luther King Jr. because he was one of the worlds best speakers and he was able to mobilize a community to stand up for their rights when they were being suppressed. Not only was he able to do that he was able to do that with peaceful protest also. Abraham Lincoln because he was what our president should be. He was raised in the country of this nation and was able to actually make a difference when he was in office. Jackie Robinson.. this is for the simply fact that he broke the color barrier in baseball. He helped shape and form the current land scape of our sports and our society. Neal Armstrong because he gave so many Americans the ability to dream beyond their wildest dreams with one step. Ray Lucas because he had a dream also and he followed it and when he was told he could not have something a certain way he left the film makers guild and went off on his own.

 Hmmm... never really thought of this one... I have to go back a couple of years... I was with one of my ex's and I was getting ready to leave her house and it was raining... and we kissed each other, but want made it so great to me was that we were standing in the rain. As sad as this sounds.. i will never for get that.

 The batman... i guess
Why:
 The reason for this is because I love to be mysterious, and be the punching bag for people to take their aggression out on so that way I know no one else is getting hurt from it. I also view it as my responsibility to do everything in my power to protect the people I care about.
