It's been a little over a week since I started on my weightloss journey.
I got on the scale this morning just to see if anything was happening so soon, my thought was that the scale would read the same or it would read that I had gained, however to my surprise I had lost 1- 1/2lbs and I was on top of the world. My goal is to shoot for 2 lbs a week, but I am happy with the result, at least I know on on the right track and it will make me dig a little harder in my actions and the food choices I make.
I did a program last year with my sister, she was always focused on the lbs each week. I didnt like the pressure of thinking about it like that. I did want to get smaller but I mostly wanted to feel better. I found myself getting discouraged because I wasnt losing like she was.
I do remember that it is best to weight yourself around the same time of day when you do. And also don't weigh yourself right after you eat. And also Salt can affect water retention, so if you have a high day dont let it bring you down. Drink plenty of water, and adding lemon helps to.
