Big Steps

 

Yesterday was a big step for me. I finally admitted to myself that I hadn't worked through a relationship issue in my past...Rejection. This has lead me down the road of many failed relationships because I never allowed myself to open up and when I would start to open up I would shove the person out of my life because I was scared. I am happy to say that I have made quite a bit of progress, I actually traced it back to the girl (she happens to be my friend now) and realized I never talked to her about how it made me feel. We sat down, talked about it, and wow I feel so much better. I also realized how silly I was about the whole thing to.

So the lesson of the day was don't let the past events hold you back. Work through those things so you can succeed in life :)
