Reflection

Hey guys,

I am on day three of TOOLS and am reallly enjoying it thus far.  What an amazing program that, from what I have seen and heard (red dragons), has changed the lives of so many. I could use a little change so here I am.

I am not really comfotable with blogging about myself so this is out of my comfort zone a bit.  Which is exactly why I am doing it.

For me just this simple, yet extremely uncomfortable, exercise of  blogging is an example of what I think Devlyn wants this program to be about.

Taking action in areas of your life that you would normally remian in a state of inaction due to a lack of comfort of fear of failure.

It is natural for us to stay in our own little world.  Even if that world is rought with self loathing, unproductive behavior,  self inflicted mental and physical abuse and so on.

You would think that we would run as fast as we could from that type of enviroment right? Wrong.  Most of the time we stay there because its somehow is comfortable.

I HAVE MADE IT A MISSION OF MINE TO DO SOMETHING, AT LEAST ONCE A DAY, THAT IS OUTSIDE OF MY COMFORT ZONE (I am typing caps on purpose.  Its the only way to shout on the computer, so I am shouting this to the world)

At first it will be once a day, then two then three.. By doing this I will have created a trigger inside of me that everytime I find myself in a situation that requires me to do something outside of my "zone",I wont hesitate and miss out on something that may take me to the next level.

I am looking forward to MANY awkward moments throughout this program.  Because that way I know I am growing in the spirit of TOOLS TO LIFE.

Stay tuned,

Peace.

Jesse
