Reflection

Hey guys,

I am on day three of TOOLS and am reallly enjoying it thus far.  What an amazing program that, from what I have seen and heard (red dragons), has changed the lives of so many. I could use a little change so here I am.

I am not really comfotable with blogging about myself so this is out of my comfort zone a bit.  Which is exactly why I am doing it.

For me just this simple, yet extremely uncomfortable, exercise of  blogging is an example of what I think Devlyn wants this program to be about.

Taking action in areas of your life that you would normally remian in a state of inaction due to a lack of comfort of fear of failure.

It is natural for us to stay in our own little world.  Even if that world is rought with self loathing, unproductive behavior,  self inflicted mental and physical abuse and so on.

You would think that we would run as fast as we could from that type of enviroment right? Wrong.  Most of the time we stay there because its somehow is comfortable.

I HAVE MADE IT A MISSION OF MINE TO DO SOMETHING, AT LEAST ONCE A DAY, THAT IS OUTSIDE OF MY COMFORT ZONE (I am typing caps on purpose.  Its the only way to shout on the computer, so I am shouting this to the world)

At first it will be once a day, then two then three.. By doing this I will have created a trigger inside of me that everytime I find myself in a situation that requires me to do something outside of my "zone",I wont hesitate and miss out on something that may take me to the next level.

I am looking forward to MANY awkward moments throughout this program.  Because that way I know I am growing in the spirit of TOOLS TO LIFE.

Stay tuned,

Peace.

Jesse

Yeah buddy!

You should be cheering yourself!!! and if you want to feel better about the whole blogging thing... just read some of mine, haha. You probably won't feel too uncomfortable anymore after seeing what I put out here!

Anyway - here is to stepping outside of our comfort zones and saying YES to life and grabbing up every opportunity we possibly can!!!

RIGHT ON!

Bethany

nice!

Your day 3 blog is much better than mine!  LOL.  I am not comfortable blogging about myself either.  Its a very introspective exercise.  Congrats for doing it and keep it up!

comfort zone

I HAVE MADE IT A MISSION OF MINE TO DO SOMETHING, AT LEAST ONCE A DAY, THAT IS OUTSIDE OF MY COMFORT ZONE

I love this!  What a great attitude to have going into each day :) best of luck to you!

RED DRAGONS, JESSE!

Blogging for me is therapy and also inspiration. Stepping out your comfort zone is key and I'm glad you're taking that step.

When I finish this 90-some day program, I'm going to go back and read all my blog entries to notice my progress.  And when you do the same, you will realize it as well.

I came into this program with sadness, regret, and despair. I'm leaving it with inner peace, life lessons, and unwavering hope.

Do the exercises, keep blogging, and help others on this site and you will be fulfilled beyond expectation. Ellis and Devlyn got me on here, but I am proud that I made this all happen!

Good luck to you!
