Overwhelmed?

Hmmm...where do I start?

I have proudly reached Day 21 of Tools. I have noticed that the past three weeks have seen significant changes in my life (all of which for the better), yet I still feel that I myself have caused my underperformance.

While it is in no way, shape or form an excuse, I must admit that I live a very busy life. I'm in a full-time graduate program, and it keeps me very busy. However, I still make the time to log and and do Tools every day. However, I feel that in my busy and hectic haste, I am often rushing through everything, as there is something on my mind that I know I must get done.

When it comes to the checklist, I am priniting it daily, but often not taking the time to be sure I'm doing EVERYTHING. My morning and evening routines are down pat, yet I still struggle to complete all items each and every day. Often, towards the end of the day I'll look at my list and say "Woah...I missed a bunch!".

I truly value this program, and definitely want to see it work, so...any advice? Thanks in advance!!

-John

says: Slow down! you need to go at your own pace. There are a lot of new ideas that tools introduces to our lives, and it is often hard to immediately introduce EVERYTHING to our routine. If you feel that you need to take more time to focus on something that you may be not doing, then go back and work on it. Tools is a 90 day program, but that doesnt mean it has to be consecutive days. I had that issue in the beginning too, and now I realize in oreder for it to be effective, you have to really soak it in. Some of these things take time to soak in, and there is nothing wrong with that. You want the best result from TOOLS right? Don't rush it. I joined back in November and I am only about half way through. You're doing great if things have already improved! keep it up.
