I guess whose words ARE important!

Well, Day 2 was a real wake up call. I must admit that I always have been one of those people who will sometimes make jokes about myself, and I didn't realize what that's been doing to me.

My most recent ex-girlfriend was one who truly said some horrible things, which is why I think I need to take the time to work on confidence. She was one who would frequently make little jabs at me, pointing out minute flaws; and not until we broke up did I realize the horrible effect that it had. The removal of this toxic person from my life gave me a huge boost, but now...I feel like I've got to put the final coat of paint on the "new me", which I think Tools will help me to do.

It's time to start thinking about these things I say to myself! I sometimes struggle with confidence, but I can and will change this. (I'm also trying to write my first "real" novel...) so, I'm struggling with getting my feet off the ground with this writing, but I can and WILL change this!

Perfect

That's a very great outlook!  Looks like you have the cannons pointed in the right direction, and congradulations on "relocating" the toxic energies!  Sounds like you already don't miss it; Keep on marching, sounds like you have stuff to write!
