The Power of Practice

What I like about Tools is that we build up new habits through daily repetition so that we don't have to think about them any more. Doing the things that are good for us begins to be automatic.

This is important because when life gets rough, we operate from the programming that we have created through our daily practices.

I spent most of my life operating from unconscious programming that was self-destructive, fear-based, and completely false. It has taken some time to change not only my physical habits, my my beliefs, thoughts, and emotional reactions. Because I have put the time and effort into changing them, I can weather the storms of life without capsizing.

I am grateful for this program. I think it should be available to all high-school students. I can imagine how much healthier the next generation of adults would be if they had these tools, and applied them, from the time they were teenagers.

Hey, Coach, what do you think? Could you present this program to schools? Or maybe create one just for young teens?

Spot on

In total agreement. the more I do something the better I am getting at it.

Simple philosophy I guess but have to work on it  Smile

Thanks for that its great

COCO

Agreed!!

"Doing the things that are good for us begins to be automatic"

I completely agree with you on this....I feel the same way.  Even though some items require a couple of reminders, I automatically smile every time I look at the mirror. I don't even have to verbally say 'My attitude is my decision'. It's become a habit.  Just like you, I had to struggle through my negative self-belief systems and now it feels so great to wake up each day.
