Dusty Toolbox

I had to laugh at myself recently. I have a lot of wonderful tools to help me stay focused, recenter, learn, grow, etc. I write about them all the time. I know how powerful and effective they are. But I wasn't using one of the most important. Meditation. It wasn't that I didn't have the time or opportunity. I just didn't feel like.

That is really a silly idea. Meditation makes me feel peaceful, centered, clear, and joyful. It benefits my health, my school work, my writing, and my relationships. How could I not feel like doing something with so many benefits?

It just comes down to making the effort to use my tools. Once I started meditating again, I enjoyed all the benefits of it and wondered why it took so long for me to just do what I need to do.
