Gardening and another point in my changed view on the world

Today we had a big day on gardening and we (my family and me) turned the whole bushes, trees and stuff nearly inside out. *lol*

We chopped a whole tree down and had a lot of fun with it.

Yesterday I realized how different I see and how I have my feelings and (imagined) hurt under control:
My Dad looked over an idea I had and said some things about marketing and such. My brother listened as well. After my Dad was finished, my brother came to me and wanted to lift me up by saying: "I don't understand how he can be so insensitive. I loved your idea." And I just looked astonished at him and told him: "I didn't feel threatend or hurt or something like that. I had fun and I think most of the things Dad said were right. He didn't belittle my idea. In fact, he said, he loved it!"

It's been really funny, that I am now able to dissect the opinion of other people from my own feelings and that way I can listen to them without feeling threatend by their different point of views.
It's wonderful!
