Day 2 and counting! :)

Today was great!

I went to Kelheim in Bavaria (near Regensburg) to take a look at my future job. It was very nice. The people there are wonderful and the city seems to be nice and small and just perfect for me.

Minus points: It is rather far from Munich where all my friends live.

Plus: I found out that some of my net-friends live in Regensburg! *lol* Life is so funny sometimes.

So I will be able to meet some new friends while I can keep the connection to the old ones.

Tomorrow I get new glasses (my old ones are quite... well... foggy? *lol* It's a bit like playing Ahab with his Moby Dick while walking through this dense fog caused by the glasses). It has been highly time to get new ones. *lol*

Then I made several appointments: I have to move to Kelheim for the position (they want me to start on monday which is totally crazy since I have to move and get a car which will take a bit of time) so I made two appointments with apartment owners where I can look at the flats. One seems to be perfect already: It's owned by a couple with a seven year old son and lays on the mountain directly near my future job: It's 3-5 minutes with the car to my job! :)

And I made an appointment to testdrive a new car. *phew*

So: Many things are happening at the moment and I think I am able to get them a bit more organized by doing my T2L-Lessons each day (BTW, maybe I am the only one, but I really need more than 15 minutes a day to complete it *lol* Am I a slow reader? I always thought 45 sec. for a page is fast *lol*).

You cannot imagine how wonderful it is to be able to communicate with the community here again. It's really great!
