How the heck do working people get time to read?!

So, here I am on day three of my working life and I simply am working too much, I guess. *lol*

Because: I don't see any time for reading! And that really bugs me. I love reading and I can't get any book finished except for comic books which I read while brushing my teeth or eating breakfast (if I eat breakfast, since my stomach seems to be shrinking by the minute *lol*).

Today I got a decent meal as we went to eat at a restaurant from my working place so I got something warm and delicious. At the moment I seem to be grasping for every minute that I can squeeze into the day.

Is there any way one gets everything done and at the same time enough time to read and prepare meals? I know that I don't plan well enough, I guess, so I don't have time to cook anything. But I try to listen to my stomach to know what I need and don't want to eat.

I am open for suggestions. *lol*

And happy working for all the working people! ;)

Desperate for Reading

That's funny, LOL! That's funny, LOL!

that's a great image...all that energy you have, reading a comic book while you brush  your teeth. Hey I bet after you get used to the new routine time for your passion will open up...I have also read in the elevator, and the other "down time" minutes, like you. But it's just not the same!

What is your day really like?

I've worked from home wen I was in sales and I've worked in offices. The advantages to offices is that when you go home the work day is over. The advantage to working from home is that if you plan it right you can set up the free time at good times of the day for you.

So it really depends on what your day is really like. Do you drive to work or take public transportation. I've done both. When I took public transportation that was one of my reading times. When I did huge amounts of driving I did books on tape (and back then they really were on tape <grin>.

I don't know if you've read the section on reading in Tools yet, but just in case you haven't gotten there yet, Coach suggests half an hour of reading as part of your going to bed ritual.

I always managed to fit some reading in because I would have gone nuts without it.

AUDIO CDS!!!

I listen to books on audio all the time. Tis very useful. Kind of annoying at first but you get used to it.
