I may be the wrong person to ask about careers but having 52 occupations does take some time, about 62 years, I just let my heart lead me... I am in videography now and love it, my dream was to be a recording engineer for bands. But recording video is yet better... only negitive was between jobs make my resume make sence for my next opportunity... Best of luck to ya Steve

all questions»

Since some time I try to figure out where I want to go with my job-life and my career. At the moment I am working at a job I don't feel especially trusted, fulfilled and wanted. So I want to switch.

Problem: I don't know where I want to go to.

So:

How did you find out which job's perfect for you? Are there any ideas, tips and propositions how I should go about that? Which are your visions for you job/career/calling? (And trust me - I have already tried several books on that subject.)

Thank you so much for taking your time to answer me.

says: Hi Jullaboonfate I am presently asking myself a nearly similar question/problem. You wish to find out where you want to go to. I wish to decide for which entreprise/project I want to fully engage myself! and that is a scary subject. I have gone that road ( fully engaging myself) many times before, and it got to be more often than others quite consuming and overwhelming ( meaning I have been neglectfull of some key selfcare essentials).I wish this time to not burn from personal passion only, but truly collaborate with others in a much more balanced way and feel greatfull each day for my health, vitality and altruistic friendship. As a coach I have accompanied a few clients in MAPPING-OUT WHERE it was they wanted to go next in their lifes. YEP!drawing a map jotting down those towns (working environments, types of friendships,...personal achievments) you want to visit, experience, stay for a while, learn and grow from, or need to go to on your way to further destinations... Mapping can be fun and reflects your true personality. No two maps are the same. Don't forget to write "memorable events" or important "to see- and to-do wants" that you see yourself doing on this trip.Making it fun is the key! The most fun I've had, was sharing this mapping activity with a mapping buddy. Bon voyage! elise50

What is your answer?

I joined TOOLS because:
I was interested in the program. I've been starting with reality creating processes some time ago (Bleep, Secret, Rabbit Hole, Lynn Grabhorn, etc.) and loved the whole thing. This program here seemed to be fun and it IS! *grin*
You are offered your dream job. What job is it?:
I can talk with people about my favorite things: Mangas, comics, connecting different age-groups and seeing more in the seemingly mundane (yes, I can see a message in Pokémon and other cartoons). And I have enough time to publish my novels and have a wonderful life with my husband and my children.
My favorite wild animal is:
Oh, that one's tricky. I love hawks, but also wolves, tigers and leopards.
Why (describe as much as possible):
Hm. Hawk: It's free to soar and such a wonderful animal. It glides through the air and has sharp talons and beak to defend itself. Wolves: Maybe because they resemble dogs. *lol* Wild Cats: Well, it's not without cause that one hero in one of my novels calls his mate "Little wildcat". ;) They are graceful, beautiful predators with intelligent eyes and deep loyalty.
My favorite domestic animal is (if you choose dog be specific with breed etc):
 A Labrador.
Why:
I love these dogs! They are real family dogs and one of them plays an important role in my life since twelve years - I got a stuffed animal at christmas once and the little dog looked just like the dog I portrayed in one of my novels. That's been the time I fell in love with the stuffed animal (it's still sitting over my bed and keeping watch) and the dogs themselves.
A famous Chef will prepare anything you want. What do you order:
Anything? Hm, then I'd order a special dish from every country.
Why:
I love to try new things. And that would be a great way to taste the dishes of every country on the world. That way you can decide what you want again. ;)
Five people either dead or alive you would have at your fantasy dinner party::
Jesus, Judas, Esther (and Jerry) Hicks, Hal Foster, Terry Goodkind and Buddha. Can I get David Eddings, too? :)
Why:
Wow, that would be a really interesting dinner conversation: Jesus and Judas: Because I love both of them and wanted to talk to them since I can remember. Esther Hicks: She's wonderful. I love her and her work and the things I learned from both. (Her husband is part of the parcel *g*) Hal Foster: That would be great. I could ask him to draw me a personal picture and let him tell me the story that he had thought about how the life of Prince Valiant goes on. Terry Goodkind: He's the best writer in Fantasy (apart of me ;) ) nowadays. He's wonderful and I want to ask him so many questions! Buddha: I would ask him many things. And having Buddha AND Jesus on the table, that would be the best dinner ever! (Can I get more people? *lol* Like David Eddings who writes such wonderful fantasy?)
If a pilot would fly you anywhere you want, you would go to:
Disneyworld! I will go there and have so much fun there! *jumping up and down* *lol* (Yes, I'm still a kid deep down inside. ;) )
My perfect slice of pizza is:
Peperoni, cheese, tomato, artichoke, salami, basilicum and a really thin pizza base *yummy* (I am getting hungry here... *lol*)
You are at a bar. You order this drink:
Hm, depends. Sometimes I like to experiment with long drinks (love Pina Colada), another time I prefer water or apple juice. (But I love grapefruit juice *g*)
You are at a coffee shop. What coffee or tea do you order:
I love the coffee from Senseo, but I love the smell of every type of coffee. With milk please, but no sugar - except when we're talking about capuccino, because that I can only get over with with a little bit of sugar. ;) Maybe I'd order fruit tea, peppermint tea, or herbal tea.
If a genie could grant you three wishes they would be (separate by commas):
To be honest, at the moment my life is so great, I cannot seem to get myself to post a wish here. So I'll stick with: Setting the genie free ;) (yes, I've watched Aladdin a few times *grin*)
You are going on a long road trip and you can only bring three CD's. Which ones do you bring (separate by commas):
I'd pack my iPod. *lol* Okay: 1. Care Bears: Meet the Care Bears (to feel great); 2. an mp3 of Abraham-channelings; 3. Jamie O' Neal "Shiver"
If I could do anything for my neighborhood today, it would be:
Get a bigger and more beautiful playgroung and play there with the children and the adults who dare to go there. ;) That way we could get so much positive energy that the next days will be filled with fun and love.
A sunset I remember:
Hm, sorry, just don't remember any sunset specially. I watch them but they don't have any specific meaning for me. I have fun but then I move on to the next great thing that's waiting around the corner.
Any character I could be from a movie, TV show or book would be:
Aleta! *grin* (Prince Valiant by Hal Foster)
Why:
She lives the life I love: Being loved, being a good mother, a wonderful wife and a wonderful, wise and smart queen. And to boot she is gorgeous! *lol*
