Weight loss is "easy" if I'm "responsible"

So, I'm down 16 pounds, with virtually no effort and no real sacrifice.  I pledged to avoid as well as I can any of the "whites" - sugar and flour - but there is plenty of other stuff to eat and nibble on.  I eat when I need to.  I also realize that I am not some child, needing a chemical "hit" from food - imagine how drab life is if I am depending on those "hits" instead of getting the good chemicals from doing productive things and thinking well of myself.

I am, indeed, no longer a child and I do not need to allow myself to engage in that conversation any more.  I am a full responsible adult and I can operate with discipline and ease, not bothering with the distractions of my Monkey Mind.  (See Managing the Mind under Psychology on www.thelifemanagementalliance.com.)
