Synchronicity

Either I'm always one step ahead, or Coach is... It seems that just as I come to some insight, it's addressed in the next day or two in Tools.  Just as I was starting to feel at a crossroads, starting to question whether I had already come far enough in Tools, whether it was important to continue, BAM, Day 70's coaches note hits me right between the eyes and addresses this.

Just to document how far I've come:

I feel so much better physically and emotionally.  I have a core sense of confidence like never before.  I feel centered, generally relaxed, hopeful and in touch with my feelings, but not controlled by them.

When I started Tools, I was facing tons of medical debt and the prospect of financial disaster, because I didn't know what my next career step was.  I'm now making an ample salary, have paid off all my medical debt, and have savings in the bank.  I am optimistic about my financial future.

I am a better parent.  I rarely lose my temper at all, anymore.  I have recast my role with my child to be his coach.  I don't take his behaviors personally anymore.  I help him understand how his negative behaviors are not serving him, that I want what is best for him in his life, not mine, and am here to help him go for it.  He is getting the message.  He started a really clever business, at the age of 14, and is learning to invest his savings, responsibly.  So far he has earned a few hundred dollars. Pretty good for a kid with serious learning disabilities.

I am working on being a better wife.  This needs to be a two way street.  I am asking for what I need and want.  My husband loves me and I love him, but we have not necessarily known how to be a great team. I am willing to work on this and see if we can do better...

Well, I could write much more, but I don't want to be late for work.

What a great post.

I feel the same way!  I am on day 74 and just made a list of some of the many changes that I have accomplished since starting tools.  Oodly, weight, which is what I initially signed up for, has only modestly improved.  But many other things have really taken off!.  I think we owe it to ourselves to finish it!

Have a great day!
