The trick is how to notice, understand, respond to and express that anger. One thing I do is creative expression. A batting cage, riding my bicycle at top speed, cleaning! throwing glass into the recycle bin...I find physical, safe, useful ways to vent. Another way is an exercise where you tighten all your muscles at once as hard as you can...squeeze everything so you feel like the HULK...then release. As you release, let the emotion GO...out...away. It really works. Other ways are learning direct, caring, assertive expression of your needs and feelings. Stuffing them just makes us more angry and then it comes out some sideways way. All ideas that work for me...
