I joined TOOLS because:
Ann from Spark mentioned it so I checked it out. It seems to have a lot of hands on, interactive segments so I thought I would give it a try. I plan to keep it private. I plan to use this to make changes, not socialize online.
You are offered your dream job. What job is it?:
It is the comedic lead in a weekly TV show with movies to follow. I am a natural and everyone loves my humor. The work is more like fun and life is exciting but there is plenty of time for relaxation and down time. Aaaaahhhhhh
My favorite domestic animal is (if you choose dog be specific with breed etc):
Dog of course. Then I would say yellow lab. I have always loved beagles because that is what we had growing up but they are hunting dogs. A lab is big and loving and warm. Their eyes are so soulful. But Border Collies are smart and faithful. It would be hard to choose. I just love dogs though.
Why:
Their love is unconditional. They are attentive and ask for little in return. They are affectionate, playful, smart, loyal, and those eyes! Those soulful eyes really get me.
A famous Chef will prepare anything you want. What do you order:
A salad with field greens, lots of arugula, walnuts, crisp, sweet apples, and my Galena dressing. Then a fillet mignon but no bacon, with a twice-baked potato smothered with cheese. A nice piece of cheesecake with strawberries, or a huge slice of coconut cake for dessert with some coffee - make it decaf.
Five people either dead or alive you would have at your fantasy dinner party::
Abraham Lincoln, my Dad, all four of my grandparents. Ok, that is six. Sorry, Abe, no room at the table this time.
Why:
This is obvious but I miss my Dad and would enjoy a long, relaxing meal with him. This meal would also give me a chance to meet and talk with my grandparents, three of whom I never knew as they had died before I was born. Wish Mom and Barry and Abe and lots of others could be there too.
If a pilot would fly you anywhere you want, you would go to:
Home to my compound on the shore with the mountains not far away where there are great hiking trails. My family all live nearby and the weather is perfect.
My perfect slice of pizza is:
Pepperoni with no fat! Yep, it will be perfect when the pepperoni has no fat and is chock full of vitamins and minerals. Maybe someday......
You are at a bar. You order this drink:
Don't drink but maybe a white wine though probably just water or maybe a flavored tea.
You are at a coffee shop. What coffee or tea do you order:
Something nutty and or chocolatey. A nice English toffee would be good.
If a genie could grant you three wishes they would be (separate by commas):
20/20 vision, ability to fly, no regrets - change the last one to loss of fear of trying new things. Man, only 3 wishes, just not enough. :)
You are going on a long road trip and you can only bring three CD's. Which ones do you bring (separate by commas):
Greatest hits of Bob Seeger, Willie Nelson, and Bob Dylan.
If I could do anything for my neighborhood today, it would be:
Ride my bike to a hiking trail, lock it, and take a brisk, long walk.
A sunset I remember:
On a dessert road, hit us just right that we couldn't see. He tried to stop the car and we did a 360. Luckily no one was around and it was very flat. Scary but it WAS a pretty sunset.
Any character I could be from a movie, TV show or book would be:
Kinsey Millhone in Sue Grafton's books.
Why:
She is self contained. And I love the sound of her little apt. She isn't stuck at a boring desk job. She is tough, cute, smart, single, and content with herself and her life. She can eat QP with cheese, get up and run 3 miles, and seems to be healthy and stays slim. Gotta love that.
