Day Five (Changing Perceptions)

Speaking of our inner voice (the theme for today) I'm on Tools because of a little voice that has been telling me for years--"Schedule yourself and discipline yourself to write for 8 hours a day...send out queries, get more freelance work."

Despite the voice I never do this! Instead I'll take any job offered to me.  In fact I write MORE when I have a job because I'm commuting on the train twice a day.  I do write every day, but not for 8 hours and that's why I'm here on tools to get my act together.

Also today when I was asked about job satisfaction on the daily stars thing, I gave myself more stars than usual because I had been basing my answers on my part-time job, instead I'm going to start basing this answer on the writing career **I** control and have ben cultivating for 15 years!
