After having gone over the Day 1 "I'm Having A Great Day" a memory came to mind of something that hit me a while ago but was now back on the forefront of thought.
Why are so many people miserable in life? Why do they mope around day after day and never really accomplish anything? Why is what Benjamin Franklin said that "Some people die at 25, they're just not buried until 75" accurate?
The answer that I saw around me (and I even started on this path myself at one time) was that there are those who spend 5/7 of their lives wishing they weren't there!! Those 5 days are (for most at least) Monday - Friday.
How many times during a week do we hear others complain about it NOT being Friday rather than being happy this it is today? Then, when it is Friday night, they try to cram an entire 7 days worth of fun, family, pleasure and whatever else into the other 2 days. Wow! Sunday night rolls around and people start getting depressed over a day (Monday) that isn't even upon them yet!!
As for me....I choose to follow this program. I choose to rejoice in each day. I choose to change.
If you've just read this line of thought, well thank you. If there is any feedback then feel free to give me your thoughts. I hope you didn't feel it a waste of your time. All the best and have a great day.

Both sides of the coin
I´ve lived both situations. Enjoy the whole week, even be in the position of being eager to get to work on monday and also the opposite, being down on sunday afternoon thinking about the day to come.
In my experience, it is a matter of choice.
Welcome to tools - hope you enjoy it and take advantage of it as much as I have!
It's Simply this>>>
Being Miserable is EASIER than working to be happy! It IS a matter of choice, Oscar is correct. We Choose - as the coach puts it, to have a positive attitude and then it produces positive results. Be proactive and you will BE happier! Micci
ENJOYING THE PRESENT ...
If we keep on chasing the rainbow, we'll never get to reach it. Getting inspiration from it is the best way instead of trying to find that pot of gold. As one popular visionary had been preaching, enjoying the present moment is the better way of dealing with life's turbulence and imperfections. Being content with the self (what we have and what we do at the present time). Worrying about the past and the future will never let us enjoy the now (the present). And I'm glad you chose to rejoice in each day. Take it as it comes. And as a favourite tune goes: It's a new day, it's a new dawn ... and I'm feeeeeeeeling good! Lovely, isn't it?
Welcome to TOOLS, by the way. This is a wonderful site - awesome program, wholesome community. Everything good rolled into one. Good to have you here.
Enjoy your journey. Clap, splash, brush, smile. Have a great day, L'Free!
