Day 2....

I learned from a well-respected friend and mentor that one of the worst things you can do to a person who you've given permission in your life to be a mentor to you is to question, change our ignore the advice given.

I have not always understood the things being told to me by him however as recently as yesterday I applied some of his advice that I didn't really understand or believe immediately and low and behold, the result that he said would happen did!

Waking up daily and saying "I'm having a great day!" makes no sense in the level of understanding that put me in life where I am.  Does that mean the logic is flawed?  Absolutely not.  Understanding is NOT a prerequisite to action, trust is.  I trusted Greg and it worked out even though my thought process wasn't where it needed to be (that was his intention.....to get me to HIS level of thought process and success!!)

After applying what Devlyn taught in lesson 1, although it sounds wierd, although it doesn't make a whole lot of sence, the simple truth is that he is further along in life than I am in areas that I need work in.  And it worked!  Imagine that....  I woke up and am more positive about the day and feel better despite the multiple snoozes that I missed after the alarm went off and without the "oh crap!  It's Monday.....blah, blah, blah."  Great stuff.  Thanks Devlyn and everyone in this network looking for a change or helping encourage others down that path of change that leads to personal attainment.
