I just wanted to say you are moving in the right direction. Just keep pushing yourself to get the most out of life. Believe me the years go by much too quickly. You will find your clear path, just keep pursuing the things that will get you there.
I am a 28 year old thats stuck between the growth stage of a child and a man. I am maturing and understanding of what I want in life, but occasionaly my actions represent a foolish kid. I am looking to settle down and enjoy young adulthood but at times I am pulled back into bad habits and an unclear direction of where my life is going. It is that clear direction I am searching for and trying to enjoy the journey as I progress toward it.
My past is pretty Vanilla. Good family upbringing for the most part. Didn't have any real significant issues as a child. The biggest obstacle I have in regards to my past is letting it go at times. Relationships that failed, friendships that are no longer helpful to the life I want to live, and actions that 21 year old Jake would do, and that 28 year old Jake needs to stop doing.
I heard Jason Ellis talk about it on his radio show and I thought it would help me try and find myself. Self discovery is a bitch.
