Great weekend!

I had a great week/weekend last week. An old friend from college contacted me as she was in town and wanted to hang out. It was good to see her again. On the weekend my good friend Liana was in town. She was on route from a conference in Vancouver and had arranged to have her flight re-booked so she could stay in town. We had made plans about a month ago to go see her favorite band, Murder by Death whom she knew personally. Friday night we just hung out, watched cartoons and had a few beers. Saturday morning we woke up and went and got tattoos togther. On my left forearm I got the phrase Fear is the Mindkiller, and on the right I got Mere Survival is Insufficient. I was an interesting experience and I'm really pleased with how it turned out. Liana got a graphic from the Murder by Death website around her wrist. We went home and chilled while Liana made a kick ass chicken casserole dinner. Went had a few drinks at my place then took a cab to the concert. We met up with the band and hung out with them for the rest of the night. I ended up throwing up on the side of the west end comfort inn. Fun night. The next day me and Liana went to visit Karen Winkleman to meet her new baby Gideon. It was nice to see karen again after all these years.
