Day 38 What's in a Mate? Turn it On!

 A few mini breakthroughs here.

Today I did go to the gym.  I joined yesterday!  It's a good environment for me.  I also did laundrey BEFORE there was nothing left to wear *nudge nudge* Proud?
I cleaned my bathroom which needed it.  Deep clean.  To the tracks "I Can't Deny It" by Fabalous and "Upgrade You" By Beyonce.  I find that listening to upbeat music really helps!
Point blank: Listening to music period helps!
Brian brought music back into my life, and of that I'm greatful.
At work I grabbed an extra day, which means an extra $50 before taxes, and that helps!
I've also written down what I desire in a mate, and last night before I went to bed I read aloud to myself about me at my best and about my ideal mate.  It felt good to put it out into the universe.  Now, I also posted it on craigslist under singles, and guess what?! It got flagged down three times!  There was nothing inappropriate in my post, but it sure did seem to rub the men looking for something unsubstantial the wrong way.  I was blunt and I put out what I want.  I got emails saying "Yeah right! Good Luck!" And that's cool too.  Someone put the effort in to be offended by my designs and respond to them.  Maybe it opened a window for their own self evaluation.
Just knowing concretely what I want (and  I can always add to it) allows me not to be so hungry.  I know he is exceptional, and I know he is worth my time.  I'm not going to let someone else cloud my vision and allow myself to miss him when he comes along!  I like the idea of putting it on everyday!  I think it's worth it.  All the great things I've done I was on for and I want to do great things again!
Yeay.
