Drivers licence reinstated

I was charged with impaired causing bodily harm in October 2007. Today my licence has been reinstated. The offence was tragic, but I feel I have gained so much from the experience. I am grateful that it happened at that time, because something very unfortunate was bound to happen and I'm glad it wasn't later in life (and the possibility that another time someone may have been killed.) I am enthusiastic about the future, I no longer drink alcohol, and I am determined for a better life. Below is the article that appeared in the local newspaper with a picture of my accident. I'm sure everyone has seen and heard these stories before, but please understand the real life consequences of drinking and driving, whether it is you or somebody you know who is participating. We're all amazing people, so let's not die before we should.

DUFFERIN OPP were called to the scene of an accident Tuesday on County Road 10, west of Highway 10 in the Town of Mono. An east-bound 2005 Toyota Sedan left the road and rolled several times in the ditch. The driver, 20-year-old Michael J. Sadler of Mono, suffered serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to Headwaters Health Care Centre with a 20-year-old passenger who also suffered serious injuries. Mr. Sadler has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm, and refusing to provide breath samples.
