Who is in charge of my life?

First I need to define what a breakthrough moment is.

It is that "whoosh" you feel in your tummy when you really, really GET what you have been telling yourself you know.

It is the difference between believing something intellectually, based on logic, information and rationales, and truly knowing something at the very core of your being.

my first big breakthrough today since starting tools. It has all been in my head until now. But this morning i was working on being in charge of my attitude, and catching up on some homework i missed about excuses, and WHOOSH ..............................

I got that I am in charge of my life!! and the way i get to be in charge is in the choices i make to do the things that make me feel good - or bad - about myself!

so simple - so why have i been making it so difficult for myself all thse years? ( also discovered that my excuses are not excuses at all, but bear-traps i use to sabotage my best efforts.  maybe i'll figure out why i do this, but even if i don't, i'm going to spot a beartrap a mile away next time i see one!

must find that poem about the hole in the pavement to remind me, too.
