Success

I did it.  I had my first "date" in about 30 years.  Stuck my toe in and it didn't get bitten off.

Can't say it was "love at first site" but we had a nice chat and coffee.  And best part is that it would be nice to see him again, and not the end of the world if I don't.  No drama, just a pleasant time.

So proud of you!!!

So proud of you!!!I resisted the dating game for about 9 years and I KNOW how tough it feels to get back in.

It gets easier. Are you internet dating? If not, I would recommend it highly.

I hope you will keep us posted. I understand what a huge step this was for you and I just wanted to say i really affirm you for taking that step into the unknown, and seeking happiness for yourself.

Don'ty forget to put yourself first - remember, you are fabulous - don't date anyone who isn't as fabulous as you (at least, don't date them twice!)

you did it..

thats brilliant.. i bet you had all the standard worries before setting off, what to wear, what to talk about, etc. but as you now know, you had nothing to worry about..

you did it..

keeps us all posted..

JUMPING WITH JOY FOR YOU!

I hear you I hear you .. I always did .. because I've got gigantic ears.  Sending you good thoughts, love, sunshine and bubbles.  Three more defining words:  THERE YOU GO!!!

That is, indeed, a great news to hear, Mel (a music to my ear!).  Go for it with stride.  Slow but sure.  (I love cakes ... and I love marvelling on it one tiny piece at a time ... makes it more pleasant and savoury ... and lasting.  For that, let's keep on clapping, splashing, brushing, smiling.  Have a splendidly great day, M3!

Cheers,

Autumn MistKiss

kudos

30 years?! now that's one big plunge if i must say.

but hats off to you.. it takes a great deal of courage and taking that first step and not being afraid? that's somethings.

cheers to life!

Way to Go

I'm so happy for you!  Congratulations on putting yourself out there!  And it's so good to know that you had a nice time.

You're a winner! You're a winner!
