I am a happy person and love life.  I care about people, especially my own family.

I sing, play the piano and write music once in a while.

I scrapbook and have my own studio.  I am working on starting a business teaching both traditional and digital scrapbooking.

I am the mother of five beautiful and talented children, and the grandmother of two adorable grandsons.

I have strong faith and am committed to follow God's plan for me.

I love my husband and look forward to growing old together and learning to love each other more fully with each passing day.

I love our home and where we live.  I enjoy being a part of the community.

I enjoy performing and have done so for most of my life.  I spent seven years managing and performing for a local non-profit theater.

I have volunteered for many service organizations, including boys scouts and girl scouts, schools, church, and community.

I live on a farm with my husband and last two children and we have a milk cow and chickens and sell our extra milk and eggs.

I am descended from pioneers on both my father's and mother's sides.  I enjoy doing family history and genealogical research.

I love learning new things.  That's why I think that this program could be spectacular for me.

In the recipes for Day 11 in the body makeover challenge it mentions using "baking Splenda".  Is that different than the kind from the package we sprinkle onto strawberries?

Most popular answers

says: I have learned that Splenda is not good for us. Man-made products seldom are. Natural, God-made, items are recognized by our bodies where as man-made inventions are quite often recognized as something foreign and our bodies send it to our livers to filter out. Stevia is a great sugar substitute, as well as agave. Raw honey has many medicinal properties that can give added benefits as well as sweetening.

What is your answer?

My Personal Assessment is not public.

I joined TOOLS because:
Kirsten said it was great and we both like to work on self-improvement.
You are offered your dream job. What job is it?:
I wanted to be a doctor for many years and was accepted to medical school but opted to become a full-time mother. I never regretted that decision. I guess it would be my dream job, but I am past the point of training for that career at this point in my life.
My favorite wild animal is:
 The elephant.
Why (describe as much as possible):
I think of elephants as being highly intelligent and even wise, as well as strong. I heard that a group of elephants was giving rides to children in Shri Lanka at the time the tsunami hit. The elephants sensed the impending doom and began to run away. Then, as they saw the children being hurt in the roaring water, they turned around, picked up the children and put them on their backs and carried them to safety. Awesome!
My favorite domestic animal is (if you choose dog be specific with breed etc):
 My golden retriever, Mercy.
She's all about love and relationships! She won't even eat a steak unless I leave first. She is always happy to see me.
A famous Chef will prepare anything you want. What do you order:
 Lobster with melted garlic butter!
 What a treat!
Five people either dead or alive you would have at your fantasy dinner party::
Jesus Christ. My husband. My mother. My father. Joseph Smith the Prophet.
I would love to be able to be in the presence of my Savior with those I love most. I want to share everything in my life with my husband. I miss my mother and father who have both passed away and it would be nice to have them join in a conversation with the Savior and one of his most beloved prophets.
If a pilot would fly you anywhere you want, you would go to:
Germany--to find out where my ancestors came from.
My perfect slice of pizza is:
You are at a bar. You order this drink:
I don't go to bars and I don't drink alcohol in any form. I avoid soda pop. I'd order water in most restaurants.
You are at a coffee shop. What coffee or tea do you order:
If a genie could grant you three wishes they would be (separate by commas):
Good health, happy family, enough money to take care of both.
You are going on a long road trip and you can only bring three CD's. Which ones do you bring (separate by commas):
Funky disco music from the 70's; a variety of old favorite rock and roll tunes; upbeat southern rock boogie drivin' down the road music.
If I could do anything for my neighborhood today, it would be:
Letting them all know I care about their families.
A sunset I remember:
The one my mother painted for me of the Oregon Coast at Pacific City.
Any character I could be from a movie, TV show or book would be:
Jennifer Garner's character in Alias: Sydney Bristo in her prime (not the pregnant days--been there done that!).
She was a genius with incredible mental and physical skills and moral courage.
