Hobbies:
I love to write, both the composition of words, and also the art of handwriting. (Not necessarily at the same time, as I prefer to type so that I can clarify when I'm composing.)
Crocheting is fun, but dorky. I decided to learn, and taught myself. I learned both yarn and thread. Made fuzzy blankets, hats, etc, and also doilies and bookmarks. I don't do it much now unless there's a specific project, mostly since the skill is checked off, so it's time to move on.
Enjoy playing flute, though I haven't been "good" at it since high school. I still get it out once in a while, although it makes my dog howl. dork. :)
Activities:
Lots of leadership in the church, not because I'm great, but because I'm willing. I sing with the praise band, am starting the womens ministry, and do a lot of the menial stuff that just needs to get done. This is a stress for me, because I tend to not finish what I start, and I don't want to let down those who trust me.
Sports:
I swam competitively in high school, but between being overweight and not having reliable access to a pool, that has gone by the wayside. If I had a place where I could swim regularly and without feeling fat, I totally would find the time to do it, and would be happier for it.
Movies:
I enjoy watching movies occasionally, but don't really get into it.
One movie that totally touched me, though, is Life Is Beautiful.

Nicchi's Life List:
100?!? wow. Completing this list.
Continue to lose weight, slowly and painlessly.
Communicate with Mike, in real time, what's hurting me.
Thank my mom, and tell her what a good job she did.
Be as good of an aunt to my unborn nephew as my sister was to my oldest son.
Be more of a leader at church, with a firm, spirit-led goal.
Be a better mom, be less critical and more encouraging.
Work to give my kids a happier home than I grew up in.
Get up promptly in the morning, even if that's just getting up the first time I wake up.
Land a job that will aid me in getting my license, and eventually a job that I enjoy. I don't imagine that this will be the same job.
Listen to my kids when they babble. I need to know what's going on in their lives, and it's a shame to miss it when they tell me.
Go off half-cocked once in a while, not procrastinating until the stars align.
Leave tasks imperfect, but done.
Find a good reason to put my wedding ring back on, or at least figure out why I took it off.
Find reasons to be proud of who I am. If there aren't reasons, cause some.
Be the person my friends think I am.
Pay bills more promptly.
Coming back later to finish this list.
