Acknowleding My Inner Voice

Acknowledging Your Inner Voice

We all have an inner voice. Most of us don't listen to it. Of course here at Tools to Life we are trained to listen to our inner voice. My inner voice can claim responsiblity for a lot of changes in my life. Yes I know, I am my inner voice but recently I've been doing something new.

I don't know when I started doing this, I just started by accident. ( We all know, of course, there are no accidents.)

One day on my way out the door to go to work my inner voice piped up and said, "what about your cell phone you put on charge last night?" Instinctively I said, "Thank You" and ran back into the house to get it.

Later my inner voice reminded me about and important event. I said, Thank you," again.

Since then I had been getting a steady stream of "reminders" from my inner voice. The more I say thank you the more the voice seems to do for me.

Just yesterday as I was putting two slices of bread into the toaster, I got, "No, no, only one slice." I said, "Thank you, " and put the other slice back into the bag. So now it's reminding me of my red light zones.

I am sharing this because you are all in Tools to Life, and won't think I am crazy. After all Coach has us taking out loud and telling our selves that we are beautiful and all sorts of other things so it's safe to tell you this.

Oh and my inner voice, just told me to say "Thank You for Listening."

I agree!

I do this all the time.

That is; I hear my own voice telling me things I forget or/and ignore. Im not as good as you at paying heed, though.

You are doing great work, and I will use you as an example. I will start appreciating my inner voice a little better, and start right now by doing my laundry straight away!

Like Victoria said... You REALLY ARE doing great AND not only for yourself but in being such a wonderful example for all of us. Thanks.

One of my earliest blogs were about how I HEAR my inner voice all the time throughout each day but I don't ALWAYS actually LISTEN... I notice I use selective hearing with it and only when I want to or feel like it usually... far less often than I HEAR it. That is one of the things I NEED to and really WANT to work on.

GREAT JOB!
