It's not procrastination - it's fear!

Funny how giving something a different name can help understand the feelings.  I have been a procrastinator with many things, but after listening to Devlyn's seminar on "I'm Gonna," I now understand that I'm actually just afraid to do it.  I realize also that I can talk myself out of being afraid of doing something - and just saying that it's because I'm afraid automatically makes me want to overcome it.  I don't like letting fear win.  I never thought it had until the moment procrastination was reinterpreted to mean the fear of doing something I am required to do.  Then all of a sudden my view of myself changed and I realized I was hiding my fear behind a word called procrastination.  So, no more letting fear win.
